The Magnolia boasts many public spaces for guests to gather. Serving as the social center, the deck boasts an “a la plancha” open kitchen. A salon beckons with ample seating and a fully-stocked bar, while three cabins and modern bathrooms.
Magali and Nicolas offer a unique dining program with a local focus on the region’s hearty fare. Gourmet-centered excursions includes dinner in a private French home, truffle hunting followed by a truffle-themed lunch, and a trip to market with Chef. Meals onboard highlight seasonally inspired menus paired with Cote d’Or Burgundies from nearby boutique wineries. Two lunches and two dinners ashore, are taken at the guest’s expense.

EXCURSION
Saturday at 3:00 PM:
A crew member of the Magnolia meets the passenger at the designated meeting point in Dijon and chauffeurs everyone 5 miles to the barge moored in Plombières. (Dinner onboard)
Guided sightseeing to area attractions, working vineyards, and lively towns. Walking and bicycling along the canal’s towpaths appeal to active passengers, while those who wish to simply laze onboard will enjoy leisurely cruising.

Monday:
- Morning: Drive to La Maison aux Mille Truffes with truffle explanation
- Lunch: Truffle farm
Tuesday:
- Lunch: On-board
- Afternoon: Cruise to La Bussiere and bike or walk the towpath.
- Dinner: Abbaye of La Bussiere built in 1131
Wednesday:
- Morning: Bike or walk the towpath.
- Lunch: In Vandenesse en Auxois, Chez Lucotte.
- Afternoon: Visit town of Beaune and the Hospice de Beaune, preserved Medieval hospital built in the 15th century.
- Dinner: Guests in the home of Magali's parents Alain & Joelle
Thursday:
- Morning: Tour Chateauneuf-en-Auxois, an ancient hilltop village overlooking the canal.

- Dinner: Reception and entertainment on-board
