Subject: Welcome to Barge Lady cruises - Johnson x 4 - June 2023 - Savoir Vivre
Dear Warren,
Thank you for your enquiry for a cruise onboard Savoir Vivre. I have travelled to Southern Burgundy which is the most stunning location, I’m delighted to assist.
Attached is information detailing what you can expect from a Barge
Lady cruise. Savoir Vivre is unique in our portfolio as all 6 dinners
are taken ashore to include a ½ bottle of wine per person included in
the cruise rate. Here is the information for your consideration:
SAVOIR VIVRE – Charming class, 8 passengers, Southern Burgundy.
A longtime Barge Lady favorite, the Savoir Vivre uniquely introduces
guests to the great Burgundian traditions of food and wine.
-
Exclusive to the Savoir Vivre, all six dinners are taken on shore at
nearby and charming bistros, inclusive of the cruise rate.
-
Dinner menus include traditional French flavors and contemporary
Continental cuisine, as well as wine pairings from the vineyards for
which the region is lauded.
- Bountiful breakfasts and lavish lunches are catered onboard and served in the vessel’s dining area.
- A comfortable salon encourages hours of casual socializing, and the four cozy ensuite cabins offer plenty of clever storage.
After
enjoying a cup of coffee on the petite foredeck, miles of manicured
towpath beckon for a brisk bicycle ride or leisurely stroll. A lively
sightseeing program includes tours of area antiquities and visits to
local landmarks.
The attentive crew of three is personable and
professional, creating a convivial atmosphere both onboard and ashore.
Queen or twin-bedded cabins.
The services of the cruise begin
and end in Dijon, and train tickets are not included in the cruise fare.
